The importance of inclusion within literature
Faridah S. Nabaggala
“Mom, why aren’t there books about different children?” This made Faridah S. Nabaggala – festival director, Abloom’s founder and children’s book author – understand how important diversity in literature is for all children to feel seen and valued. Starting from a mother’s perspective, Nabaggala will give an awareness speech about the importance of inclusion within literature.
